Like new. George Anson Wedge was dean of Julliard School of Music from 1939 to 1946. He had joined the faculty in 1918 and taught theory, ear-training, and harmony, and was head of the theory department after 1925. He also advised the Manhattan School of Music and headed the theory department of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. The book begins with a summary of Elementary Theory and then goes through the study of harmony and its application. A teacher is expected to work with the student at the keyboard.
